Disc Golf is FREE for half term week

Explore our 9-hole disc golf course nestled in the beautiful woodlands of Trentham Gardens. Perfect for families and beginners, yet challenging enough for seasoned players, the course offers stunning views of the gardens and lake.

Enjoy a mix of skillful throws and strategic plays, like navigating the narrow woodland cut at ‘Knock the Wood’ (Hole 3) and the hidden basket at the dogleg left ‘Can’t See the Disc for the Trees’ (Hole 6).

Located just a 5-minute walk from the tearooms and other amenities, our course ensures a convenient and enjoyable experience. As the only purpose-built disc golf course in Stoke-on-Trent, it’s a must-visit for disc golf enthusiasts.

Hide and Speak Maze

Within the Hide and Speak Maze, you’ll discover special talking pipes. Shout through them to help you to find your way. Discover a range of flowering meadows with bug hotels attracting lots of interesting seasonally active insects including hoverflies, bees, butterflies, moths, damselflies and beetles as you explore. The final destination is the ‘Treasure Chest’ meadow mound buzzing with pollinators on a sunny day, with a spiral path leading you to the top of the maze. From this high position, you can shout your instructions to others, still lost in the maze.

Barefoot walk

We dare you to brave the Barefoot Walk!

Get naked from the knees down and enjoy a walk through the Capability Brown landscape. Tantalise your toes with an array of testing textures including mud, bark, grass and pebbles.

Shoe lockers and foot showers are available.

Enjoy a Lake Cruise

Discover the sights and sounds on our leisurely cruise boat, Miss Elizabeth, and explore the tranquil waters of Trentham Lake.

Ride On The Miniature Train

Climb aboard and enjoy a ride on our miniature train, The Trentham Fern.

Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife as you pass alongside the Trentham Lake and climb aboard throughout the year to see the scenery change throughout the seasons.

Fairy Quest

Set off on a magical adventure with Fairy Quest, and search high and low to discover all 21 of Trentham’s enchanting fairies! These incredible wire sculptures, crafted by world-famous artist Robin Wight, add a touch of magic to our historic gardens.

A Fairy Quest pack costs £4 and includes fairy stickers, a postcard trail, and a collectable pin badge, making your visit even more magical. These unique sculptures have sprinkled a little magic over Trentham Gardens, delighting visitors of all ages. Join the fun and see how many fairies you can find on your day at Trentham!

Beaver Activity Pack

Learn fascinating facts about the beavers that call Trentham home and uncover the tell-tale signs of their activities with our Beaver Activity Pack.
