Dinosaur Trail

21 July – 31 August.

All summer long, join our free Dinosaur Trail and set off on a prehistoric adventure as you search for Jennifer the Venifer, Darcey the Dromaeosaurus, Tulula the T Rex, and Stan the Stegosaurus. Explore the shopping village and spot these ancient giants hidden among the shops and walkways, a fun challenge for dino fans of all ages.

When it’s time to take a break, refuel at one of the many cafés, restaurants or snack stops. Make a full day of it with friends and family and don’t forget to capture some photos with your favourite prehistoric pals.

Dinosaur Takeover Day

11 August.

Join us for a roar-some day at the shopping village, where dinosaur fans can step back in time for a Jurassic adventure. Meet Emily the Diplodocus and adorable baby dinosaurs — perfect for little explorers and selfie lovers.

This free family-friendly event promises prehistoric fun, smiles, and plenty of photo opportunities. A great summer day out for dino enthusiasts of all ages.

Willow Tales

Every Monday from 21 July – 25 August.

Join us every Monday this summer at Trentham Gardens for a delightful family adventure. Step inside the Tipi for a magical performance featuring the brilliant tales of Owl, Badger, Weasel, Toad, Mole and Rat. Then set off on an exciting bug scavenger hunt around the lake. This special blend of theatre, nature, and storytelling promises a memorable summer day out for all ages.

Time 4 Sport

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 22 July – 28 August.

Join Time 4 Sport UK’s Adventure Kids’ Club (ages 6–13) at Trentham Gardens for a fun-filled day of energy, excitement and outdoor adventure. From multi-sports, archery, and laser tag to den building, nature trails, the barefoot walk, and the adventure playground, every activity is designed to keep children active, engaged and smiling.

Enjoy all the Time 4 Sport action you know and love — now with the added magic of Trentham’s stunning gardens, the perfect backdrop for summer fun in the fresh air.

Wildlife Drop In Sessions

Every Thursday.

Join us every Thursday for an exciting, hands-on adventure with our knowledgeable and friendly rangers. Each week brings a new opportunity to explore the great outdoors, learn fascinating facts about local wildlife and experience nature up close. From bug hunts to bird spotting, pond dipping to woodland discovery, there’s always something new to uncover in the wild corners of Trentham. Perfect for curious minds of all ages!

Dog Meet Up's

Every Saturday from 19 July – 30 August.

This summer, join Barks & Co for seven weeks of fun doggy meet-ups in the picnic area at Trentham Shopping Village. Each week shines a spotlight on a different group of dog breeds — but all friendly four-legged visitors are welcome every time!

Everyone attending a meet-up will receive a Barks & Co wristband, giving 20% off entry to Trentham Gardens on the day.

Tunes on the Terrace

Every Friday in August.

Relax with a hot drink or a sweet treat while talented local musicians set the scene for a peaceful afternoon. Let the gentle melodies drift through the air as you unwind, take in the stunning garden views and enjoy the calm, tranquil atmosphere.

Selfcare Sundays

Every Sunday from 27 July – 31 August.

Begin your day with a one-hour yoga session led by Kirsty Booth, set against the beautiful backdrop of the gardens. Each class starts with a short meditation and gentle breathing techniques (Pranayama) to help you centre yourself. You’ll then move through a flowing sequence designed to build strength, enhance mobility and flexibility, and finish with a soothing relaxation to set a positive tone for the day and week ahead.
