Father Christmas FAQs

This experience can be purchased online here or at the Visitor Centre.

Grotto tickets cost £17 per child. This includes:

  • 1 x Magic Key on arrival
  • 1 X Christmas Bell
  • Meet and greet with Father Christmas
  • Gift from Father Christmas

Siblings and friends are welcome in the Grotto at the same time but all children must have a ticket before entering the Grotto.

If you would like your baby to receive a present from Father Christmas and/or they are the only child entering the Grotto then you will need to purchase a ticket. If your baby is going in with another child and they do not receive a gift then they will not need to purchase a ticket.

We advise you arrive 10 minutes early for your slot. If you miss your allocated time slot we cannot issue a refund.

All tickets must be bought in advance. On the day visitors can visit the Visitor Centre to check availability, but we recommend buying in advance as tickets are selling fast.

All online ticket purchases will be emailed to you via the email address you registered while booking the tickets.

Trentham has a free car park with plenty of spaces available for you.

Father Christmas’ Grotto is located behind Bark and Co. Please note that there are 3 separate grottos running on site at Trentham. Trentham’s grotto has no connection to Totally Delicious’ breakfast with Santa or Blue Dimond’s garden centre grotto. Please ensure your tickets are booked for Trentham’s Father Christmas Grotto before arriving.

  • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • In the unlikely event Trentham is forced to close the grotto for any reason, refunds or other dates will be available.
  • If you are late for your time slot we cannot offer a refund.

Yes, there is a ramp to access the grotto and enough space for a wheelchair inside.
