King’s Coronation Weekend

It’s time to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King! Join us for family fun and quintessentially British entertainment with a big screen displaying the Coronation, vintage fairground rides and games in the award-winning Italian gardens for visitors to enjoy.

Watch the coronation in full LIVE on Saturday 6 May with schools, theatre companies and singers performing in the Gardens amphitheatre for entertainment throughout the day. Enjoy vintage fairground rides, hook a duck, swing boats and a ride on the carousel.

In the Shopping Village, children can become knights and princesses for the day in activities hosted by the Scenic Outdoor Theatre’s Knights & Princesses School. Activities include learning how to ballroom dance, slay dragons and how to be a medieval knight!

3D murals will fill the floor of the retail village with colour as well as a royal photo area for families to pose in front of. Plus, a Brass Band will perform throughout the day, while King’s Guard performers on stilts will stroll through the Shopping Village.
