Highland Cow Walking Tour

Join one of our Wildlife Rangers for a relaxed guided walk through North Park and discover more about this special part of the estate.

Learn about the importance of wood pasture habitat, the natural history of Trentham and the conservation grazing that helps us manage the landscape. You’ll also have the chance to meet some of our most important conservation grazers – our resident Highland cattle!

Take a closer look at these impressive animals, learn more about the breed and their role at Trentham, and don’t forget your camera or phone for the perfect Highland cow photo.

Please wear seasonal, weather-appropriate clothing, including a rain jacket if needed, and sturdy, closed-toe footwear. We also recommend bringing a camera or phone to capture some photos along the way.
