Dino Fun Weekend FAQs

Yes. Children under 3 and companions are able to enter the event for free but still require a ticket.

Your ticket allows you access to the dinosaur event where you are able to watch the prehistoric characters come to live and perform shows and walk about performances. Keep your eyes peeled for dinosaurs in the trail too!  Other attractions include fayre ground rides, catering, face painting and crafting activities, plus, our resident train and boat.*

Your ticket also allows access to the rest of our gardens so enjoy the and adventure playground and a lakeside stroll.

Gardens entry is separate to the dinosaur event. Unless you are a member, you will require a gardens ticket.  When booking your tickets for this event, please ensure you choose the ‘includes garden entry’ ticket option.

This will take place at Trentham Gardens in our Events Field, which is approximately 0.5km walk from the Visitor Centre.

Yes. Please keep all dogs on short leads, extendable leads must be retracted to the shortest length possible.

The event is held in a field and is mostly accessible, however, as the dinosaur trail is located in our woodland area, this part of the event is not accessible for all and would require an off road wheelchair.

Tickets are non-refundable and the dinosaur event will still go ahead if it’s raining. If the gardens are deemed unsafe, then tickets will either be transferred to the next day or refunded. All activities are outside so please wrap up warm and wear sensible footwear, wellies are recommended.
