PAU Teams Up with Cycling Legend Sir Bradley Wiggins

Cycling Legend to Host Meet & Greet and 50-Mile Cycling Event

PAU, Staffordshire’s leading destination for running and cycling enthusiasts, is thrilled to announce Sir Bradley Wiggins as its newest brand ambassador. To celebrate this exciting partnership, PAU is hosting a series of exclusive events on the weekend of September 28 – 29, providing fans with the opportunity to meet and ride with the iconic cycling champion.

As part of his decision to partner with PAU, Wiggins was particularly drawn to Project PAU and Team PAU, two key initiatives that reflect his passion for making cycling more accessible to all. Through a free online cycling academy and a fully funded junior cycling team, PAU is dedicated to helping young riders who lack the resources or guidance to enter and succeed in the sport. With cycling being an expensive discipline to break into, PAU’s initiatives ensure that young talent, regardless of financial background, can develop skills, compete, and thrive.

“Cycling is a tough sport to access, especially for kids who might not have the funds or support to get started,” said Sir Bradley Wiggins. “What PAU is doing with their free cycling academy and junior team is inspiring. I’m excited to support this mission and be a part of something that’s truly making a difference.”
