Trentham Lake Cruises launch in time for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, and a visit to Trentham is the perfect way to spend time together. Located in the heart of Staffordshire, Trentham is a magnificent 725-acre estate with so much on offer to enjoy this Sunday 10 March.
Whether she’ll enjoy an early spring stroll complete with a lake cruise, being treated to a spectacular dining experience, or wants tickets to the hottest shows in town, Trentham have something for all mums to enjoy.
All aboard Miss Elizabeth!
Miss Elizabeth will be back on the water just in time for Mother’s Day, offering boat trips from one end of the lake to the other. Featuring new branding, the eco-friendly electric catamaran Miss Elizabeth offers cruisers the chance to learn about Trentham’s commitment to conservation and spot a range of wildlife, including a chance to see the family of Eurasian beavers, water voles, weasels, herons and cormorants.
The cruise sets sail from one end of the lake to the other every half an hour between 11am and 4.30pm, and costs £3 per person per trip.
Trentham Springs into Colour
Mother’s Day falls just in time to discover an array of different colours and scents begin to flourish at Trentham’s annual Spring Bulb Festival. Throughout your visit you can look forward to seeing crocuses, tulips and daffodils throughout the Italian Gardens and beyond from Friday 1 March until Friday 31 May. With over a million bulbs planted in the gardens, visitors are guaranteed something new to see with each spring visit.
Shop and Dine out in Style
With over 75 stores, restaurants, cafés, and eateries in Trentham Shopping Village, as well as the ever-popular Blue Diamond Garden Centre, there’s something for all mums to enjoy.
Treat your mum to something special from Trove or Design 44, or maybe something for the home or kitchen from Simmer and Slice or ProCook. Once you’ve had your fill of shopping, take a moment to relax in one of the fantastic cafés and restaurants on offer, and really make it a day to treasure together.

Enjoy a Summer of Live Music
This summer, Trentham is hosting live music by the lakeside every Friday and Saturday night from 28 June to 27 July. The Summer Concerts offer a chance to picnic and party with your favourite bands. This year’s line-up has a variety of music, with old favourites returning including ABBA Reunion and Club Classics, as well as the new additions of Ultimate Boybands and DJ House Beats. There’s something for all mums on offer!
Early bird ticket prices start from £20 per person, plus booking fees. Trentham Members can get early pre-sale access from Friday 1 March, with general access on sale from Monday 4 March – just in time for Mother’s Day!
Trentham Live 2024
Trentham Live has established itself as a summer event on the UK festival calendar, drawing music enthusiasts from far and wide and promises to be an unforgettable 4 days for music lovers of all ages. Friday 16 August sees the legendary pop icon Jess Glynne headline the stage supported by Sam Tompkins, Saturday 17 August has the Manic Street Preachers performing decades of hits, followed by much-loved trio Busted headlining on Sunday 18August. Trentham Live still has one more act to announce, alongside support acts for their 2024 lineup. Tickets make the perfect gift, and are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
