This March sees the first sightings of our spring bulbs, the return of our Trentham Boat Lake Cruise and memberships galore suitable for every type of mum this Mother’s Day.
Enjoy a leisurely lake cruise
Set to return on Saturday 29 March, embark on a scenic journey aboard our boat, Miss Elizabeth, and experience the breathtaking views and sounds of Trentham Lake. Glide along the calm waters, surrounded by the ever-changing scenery, and soak in the beauty of nature. This peaceful cruise provides the perfect chance to relax and unwind.
Trentham Boat Lake Cruise operates from 29 March – 7 September on weekends, bank holidays and in school holidays operating every half an hour between 12pm and 4pm from the North and South Jetty.
Spring Bulb Festival begins
Mother’s Day marks the start of our annual Spring Bulb Festival – come and see the first blooms as you walk through the gardens.
In March, vibrant daffodil displays will take centre stage, along with the start of the pot displays featuring irises and narcissus, ready to delight the bees. April will bring the full bloom of the main bulb displays, with the Italian Gardens coming alive in a burst of fragrant tulips, buzzing with bees seeking early spring nectar. The woodland meadows will also be blanketed in delicate white wood anemones. In May, the late-blooming tulips and bluebells will add their beauty, carpeting Trentham’s historic woodlands and creating a dreamy blue haze among the trees.
Indulge in shopping and dining
Treat mum to something special this Mother’s Day at Trentham Shopping Village. In over 80 unique timber lodges, you’ll find a great mix of independent and national chain shops, restaurants and cafes, perfect for a relaxing day out. Trentham is also home to the Blue Diamond Group’s flagship Garden Centre, offering a wide selection of plants and products to enhance any home or garden.
A concert series mum will never forget!
Experience an unforgettable, fun-filled music weekend this summer as top headliner artists take the stage at Trentham, celebrating the Stoke 100 City Celebrations.
