Celebrating Staffordshire Day at Trentham

It’s Staffordshire Day and we’re marking the occasion with something truly special here at Trentham!

To kick off the celebrations, we’re offering a little extra treat – the first 25 people to join or renew their membership in person will receive a free Trentham & Staffordshire Day Moorland Pottery Mug. A perfect keepsake to remember the day.

Celebrating Creativity with Forsbrook Primary School

As part of our Staffordshire Day festivities, we’re delighted to showcase an inspiring project created by pupils from Forsbrook Primary School. The children spent a day immersing themselves in Trentham’s past, present, and future, meeting a wildlife ranger, taking part in hands-on activities and exploring the stories that shape our landscape.

The result is a collection of imaginative and thoughtful artwork that is now proudly displayed in Trentham’s Shopping Village as part of Staffordshire’s 10-year anniversary celebrations.

Be sure to stop by the shopping village entrance to enjoy these fantastic creations up close. Plus, there’s even a great photo opportunity waiting for you!

Meet Staffy: Our Newest Mascot

We’re excited to introduce Staffy, Staffordshire’s brand-new mascot and tour guide, currently located at Goods Yard. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Staffordshire Day, we’re delighted to welcome Staffy to Trentham. Designed by students from Stafford College in collaboration with award-winning local artist Lynne Hollingsworth, the sculpture celebrates everything that makes this county so unique.

Staffy is part of a brand-new public art trail spanning the county. A collection of 11 giant sculptures has been placed across the region in key locations, with more spots to be revealed. Each sculpture shares a story, celebrating Staffordshire’s heritage, creativity and communities.
