Celebrating Success at the Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards 2026
We had an unforgettable evening at the Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards 2026, held on Thursday 19 March at Statfold Country Park in Tamworth. The event brought together some of the very best attractions, businesses and individuals from across the region, and we were honoured to be among them.
This year proved to be particularly special for us, as we were recognised across multiple categories, highlighting both our team’s dedication and our commitment to creating exceptional visitor experiences.
We are thrilled to share that we achieved:
- Bronze – Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award
- Bronze – Large Visitor Attraction of the Year
- Highly Commended – Unsung Hero Award (Duncan Coleman, Senior Wildlife Ranger)
Receiving the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award (Bronze) is especially meaningful. Ensuring that our attraction is welcoming and accessible to all visitors is at the heart of everything we do. This recognition reinforces our ongoing efforts to create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy what we offer.
Our Bronze award for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year is a testament to the incredible work of our entire team. From front-of-house staff to behind-the-scenes operations, every individual plays a vital role in delivering memorable experiences.
A particular highlight of the evening was seeing Duncan Coleman receive a Highly Commended recognition in the Unsung Hero category. Duncan combines hands-on conservation with engaging educational work, helping young visitors connect with nature. We’re incredibly proud to see his contributions recognised in this way.

These achievements reflect the passion and dedication of our whole team. Congratulations to all finalists and winners – it’s a privilege to be part of such a great tourism community.
A big thank you to our visitors and supporters – we look forward to seeing you again soon.
