We’re excited to announce a beautiful new chapter for Trentham’s rose border: the launch of our brand-new David Austin Roses Border! Join us on Sunday 29 June for a day of celebration, talks from experts and summer blooms, right in the heart of the gardens.
Designed and planted last year with the world-renowned team at David Austin Roses, this summer marks the first spectacular flowering season of the border – and you’re invited to experience it at the start of its journey.
What’s Happening on the Day?
We’re hosting a series of expert-led talks and demonstrations from David Austin Roses & Trentham’s Head Gardener, all included with garden admission (and free for Trentham members). Highlights include:
- A talk on rose fragrance and key species
- A deep dive into rose breeding and history
- A live planting demonstration
- An introduction to Trentham’s future vision and how the Rose Border plays a key role
- Plus, friendly Trentham gardeners stationed at the border to answer your questions
Plus, you’ll be able to buy your favourite David Austin Roses on-site – perfect for adding a touch of English rose magic to your own garden.
Throughout the day, there will be English tea-themed refreshments available to keep you refreshed while you explore the gardens.
