Outdoor Adventures

From climbing and sliding in the Adventure Playground – now with a brand-new outdoor soft play area – to getting lost in the Hide and Speak Maze with its talking pipes and bug-filled meadows, there’s plenty to keep young explorers active and engaged.

Inflatable fun in the gardens

Discover Staffy’s shopping trail at Trentham Shopping Village and enjoy a fun-filled adventure for all ages. Search for hidden items in participating shop windows, complete Staffy’s shopping list, and enter for the chance to win a prize.

Wildlife Lake Cruise aboard Miss Elizabeth

Join us on Friday 29 May for a guided wildlife cruise across Trentham’s stunning Capability Brown lake aboard the all-electric catamaran, Miss Elizabeth. Suitable for all ages, this relaxing experience offers the chance to see herons, cormorants and signs of resident beavers while discovering more about the lake’s history, wildlife and conservation efforts with insights from an on-board Wildlife Ranger. Spotter sheets and binoculars are available from the Visitor Centre.

£7 per person including for standard Trentham members. £5.60 for platinum and gold members. Usual gardens admission prices apply.

Trentham Lake Boat Cruise

Other Trentham experiences on offer include a scenic cruise on Trentham’s tranquil lake aboard the Miss Elizabeth, an all-electric catamaran.

Lake Cruises are an additional £3 per person. Usual gardens admission applies.

North Jetty – reimagined for 2026!

There’s even more to discover at the North Jetty! Young adventurers can take the wheel on the Junior Kart Track, featuring easy-to-drive karts and a purpose-built track designed especially for children.

Families can also explore the Wildlife Finger Mazes, packed with twists, turns and nature-inspired challenges to enjoy together.

It’s the perfect spot for outdoor adventure and family fun.

Time4Sport Trentham Gardens Adventure Kids’ Club

Get ready for an exciting day at Adventure Kids’ Club on Friday 29 May! This action-packed camp is designed for children aged 6-13 and ideal for working parents looking for childcare in the school holidays. The perfect place for your children to have fun, make new friends, stay safe, learn new skills and have a happy school holiday. Activities include – Multi-Sports, Nature Trails, Archery, Den Building, Laser Tag, Adventure Playground and more!
