Competition Terms and Conditions

For all Trentham Estate competition terms and conditions, please refer to the below:

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for ‘Win an educational ranger-led session at Trentham for you and your class’

1. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over.
  • Entrants must be able to collect the prizes from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • To enter, participants must fill in the online form on the Trentham website and share their completed colouring of the beaver on the reverse of the Playtime at Trentham leaflet.
  • The competition link will be available on the Playtime at Trentham leaflet.

3. Competition Period

  • Entries accepted until Tuesday 31st March 2026. A winner will be drawn on Wednesday 1st April 2026.

4. Prizes

  • A ranger-led educational session at Trentham for a class of up to 35 students.

Please note: Travel is not provided by Trentham.

5. Winner Selection

  • The 1x winner will be chosen randomly by Woobox’s random winner generator.

6. Data Privacy

  • Participation in the competition is consent for Trentham to process personal data as per GDPR regulations.
  • Data used for the competition will be hosted on Woobox.
  • Participants opting into the mailing list will have their data exported to Mailchimp.
  • All other data will be deleted within 6 months post-competition and prize claim.

7. Promotion and Usage Rights

  • Trentham reserves the right to share any stories related to Trentham for promotional purposes.
  • Photos taken as part of the prize may be used by Trentham for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes.

8. Disqualification

  • Participants may be disqualified for actions deemed damaging to Trentham Estate at Trentham.

9. Liability and Indemnity

  • Trentham holds rights to the reasons submitted for marketing and promotional use.

10. Contact and Notification

  • Winners will be notified via email after the competition closes.
  • If no response is received within 60 days, the prize will be redrawn.

11. General

  • Trentham reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for Shaun The Sheep Plush Competition

1. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over.
  • Entrants must be able to collect the prizes from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • To enter, participants must fill in the online form on the Trentham website and share their design of the Shaun The Sheep Sculpture.
  • The competition link will be available in social campaigns and posts by Trentham.

3. Competition Period

  • Entries accepted until midnight on Sunday 25th May 2025.

4. Prizes

  • A plush Shaun The Sheep.

Please note: Postage is not included, and prizes must be collected from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG. Prizes not collected within 90 days will be forfeit.

5. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen by Trentham’s Event team.

Trentham Fairy Quest Form Entry

By entering this prize draw you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The prize draw is open to members of the public aged 18 years and over and residents of the UK only, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

The Winner will receive one of Robin Wight’s Dandelion Wish sculptures (approximately 6 ft) worth £1,000.

The competition opens 10am Friday 17 February 2023 and closes midnight Sunday 1 October 2023.

Winners will be contacted by Trentham Estate and have up to 7 days to claim their prize. Any claims after this may not be accepted and an alternative winner will be selected.

Entrance to Trentham Gardens is subject to the venue’s ticket terms and conditions and entrance times.

Travel and accommodation costs, or any other costs are not included in the prize.

Trentham Estate reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities for technical, operational, health and safety.

The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

The prizes may not be resold, transferred or used for commercial gain.

The prize must be collected from The Trentham Estate.

Entrants agree that Trentham Estate’s decisions in re­lation to this prize draw shall be final in every situation, including any not mentioned above, and no correspondence (except for notifying the winners) will be entered into.

Trentham Estate reserves the right to cancel or change the prize draw or amend these Terms and Conditions at any stage in its absolute discretion.

In providing this prize draw, Trentham Estate shall not be responsible for any event that is beyond its reasonable control.

The prize draw is governed exclusively by the laws and courts of the United Kingdom and not associated with Facebook (Meta), Twitter and Instagram in any way.
