Competition Terms and Conditions

For all Trentham Estate competition terms and conditions, please refer to the below:

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for 20 Years, 20 Prizes Competition

1. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over.
  • Entrants must be able to collect the prizes from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • To enter, participants must fill in the online form on the Trentham website and share the reason they love Trentham.
  • The competition link will be available in social campaigns and posts by Trentham.

3. Competition Period

  • Entries accepted until midnight on Sunday, 30th June.

4. Prizes

  • 2 Trentham Live VIP tickets to a day of your choice
  • Glazed Art – Jacky Zegers signed sculpture Banjo
  • Brunch for 2 at Crepe & Waffle at Trentham
  • Breakfast for 2 at Pau Run and Ride at Trentham
  • A £20 gift voucher for Trentham’s One More Bear
  • Meal for 2 at Pieminster at Trentham
  • Whittard of Chelsea’s tea set from the Trentham store
  • FantasyWire Build Your Own Fairy Set – from Trentham’s Fairy Artist Robin Wight
  • £20 gift voucher for Cadwaladers at Trentham
  • Lunch for 2 at Trentham’s Rotisserie
  • A hamper from Cheese & Wine shop at Trentham
  • Family Day Ticket to Trentham’s Monkey Forest
  • 2 tickets to Deacon Blue at Trentham Live (15/08)
  • 2 tickets to Jess Glynne at Trentham Live (16/08)
  • 2 tickets to Manic Street Preachers at Trentham Live (17/08)
  • 2 tickets to Busted at Trentham Live (18/08)
  • 2 tickets to Trentham’s Summer Concerts’ DJ House Beats
  • A Saturday Night Beaver Experience for 2 at Trentham
  • A family ticket to Trentham’s Christmas Festival
  • A family day ticket to Trentham Gardens

Please note: Postage is not included, and prizes must be collected from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG. Prizes not collected within 90 days will be forfeit.

5. Winner Selection

  • The 20 winners will be chosen randomly by Woobox’s random winner generator, and prizes will be allocated in the order above.

6. Data Privacy

  • Participation in the competition is consent for Trentham to process personal data as per GDPR regulations.
  • Data used for the competition will be hosted on Woobox.
  • Participants opting into the mailing list will have their data exported to Mailchimp.
  • All other data will be deleted within 6 months post-competition and prize claim.

7. Promotion and Usage Rights

  • Trentham reserves the right to share any stories related to Trentham for promotional purposes.
  • Photos taken as part of the prize may be used by Trentham for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes.

8. Disqualification

  • Participants may be disqualified for actions deemed damaging to Trentham Estate at Trentham.

9. Liability and Indemnity

  • Trentham holds rights to the reasons submitted for marketing and promotional use.

10. Contact and Notification

  • Winners will be notified via email after the competition closes.
  • If no response is received within 60 days, the prize will be redrawn.

11. General

  • Trentham reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for Emergency Services Community Day Membership Prize Draw

1. Eligibility

  • Offer open only on Saturday, 18th May.
  • Participants must purchase or renew a Trentham membership (Gold or Platinum) on the day to be eligible.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  • Excludes the use of any vouchers, discounts, or other offers.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • Entry is automatic for anyone who purchases or renews a Trentham Gold or Platinum membership during the Emergency Services Community Day event.
  • No additional steps are required to enter the prize draw.

3. Competition Period

  • The prize draw is valid only on Saturday, 18th May, during the Emergency Services Community Day event.

4. Prize

  • One pair of General Admission Trentham Live 24 tickets to an evening of the winner’s choice.

5. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries using a random number generator.
  • The draw will be conducted by Trentham Estate representatives within 7 days of the event.

6. Notification

  • The winner will be notified via the contact details provided during membership purchase or renewal.
  • If no response is received within 14 days of notification, a new winner will be drawn.

7. Prize Collection

  • The prize will be 2 tickets to the Trentham Live 24 evening of the winner’s choosing, to be established once selection is made.
  • The tickets will be valid for that evening only.
  • Details about collection will be made available before the event date.

8. Data Privacy

  • Participation in the prize draw is consent for Trentham to process personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations.
  • Data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw and notifying the winner.

9. Promotion and Usage Rights

  • Trentham reserves the right to use the winner’s name and photograph for promotional purposes.

10. Disqualification

  • Participants may be disqualified for actions deemed damaging to Trentham Estate.

11. Liability and Indemnity

  • Trentham holds rights to the reasons submitted for marketing and promotional use.

12. General

  • Trentham reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Participation in the prize draw implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Trentham Fairy Quest Form Entry

By entering this prize draw you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The prize draw is open to members of the public aged 18 years and over and residents of the UK only, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

The Winner will receive one of Robin Wight’s Dandelion Wish sculptures (approximately 6 ft) worth £1,000.

The competition opens 10am Friday 17 February 2023 and closes midnight Sunday 1 October 2023.

Winners will be contacted by Trentham Estate and have up to 7 days to claim their prize. Any claims after this may not be accepted and an alternative winner will be selected.

Entrance to Trentham Gardens is subject to the venue’s ticket terms and conditions and entrance times.

Travel and accommodation costs, or any other costs are not included in the prize.

Trentham Estate reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities for technical, operational, health and safety.

The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

The prizes may not be resold, transferred or used for commercial gain.

The prize must be collected from The Trentham Estate.

Entrants agree that Trentham Estate’s decisions in re­lation to this prize draw shall be final in every situation, including any not mentioned above, and no correspondence (except for notifying the winners) will be entered into.

Trentham Estate reserves the right to cancel or change the prize draw or amend these Terms and Conditions at any stage in its absolute discretion.

In providing this prize draw, Trentham Estate shall not be responsible for any event that is beyond its reasonable control.

The prize draw is governed exclusively by the laws and courts of the United Kingdom and not associated with Facebook (Meta), Twitter and Instagram in any way.
