Trentham Halloween Festival FAQs

It is free to visit the event for members between 8am – 4pm. The evening event will begin at 5pm. This is chargeable for all visitors. £12 for adults, £7 for children and £30 for a family of 4.  This includes 10% discount for members.

The gardens will be closed at 4pm, last entry at 3pm. The evening event will ready for 5pm opening. If you have visited the gardens in the day and have tickets for the evening then we would suggest visiting one of our onsite eateries and shops https://trentham.co.uk/shopping-village/shops-and-eateries-at-trentham/ while you wait for the evening event to begin.

On the 26 and 27 of October as well as all the everyday garden experiences, live music from community groups and choirs will take place throughout the day. The Makers Market and vintage fayre ground rides will line the Italian gardens, Professional pumpkin carvers will create an impressive  pumpkin trail with 9 pumpkin scenes and the selfie trail will see you posing in front of trick or treat doors, sitting on the pumpkin throne and dodging zombies hands in the selfie trail.

Children will embark on the Witch and Wizard school as they complete tasks to graduate and receive a certificate.

Food and beverage units will also be available. All dietary requirements have been catered for.

As night falls, Trentham Gardens transforms into a Halloween Festival that you won’t want to miss!

From 5pm to 9pm on Saturday 26 & Sunday 27, you will be captivated by a spectacular fire show featuring fire eaters and dazzling fire poi acts. Enjoy live music at the stage, and keep your eyes peeled for eerie walkabout performers which will keep you on your toes.

Explore the incredible pumpkin trail where professional pumpkin carvers have crafted nine stunning scenes that are sure to impress. And for those who love a good photo op, our selfie trail is a must-do! Take photos in front of trick-or-treat doors, take a seat on the pumpkin throne, and watch out for those mischievous zombie hands.

Take a nostalgic spin on vintage rides and indulge in a variety of delicious treats from our food and beverage units, with options to suit all dietary needs.

Tickets are available to buy at the Visitor Centre prior to the event, we encourage prebooked tickets as there are a limited number of tickets and once these have sold out you will be turned away. Prebooking tickets will also ensure you a quicker entrance.

Prices for tickets bought on the day will have an increase in price of:

Adult – £16

Child – £10

Family – £40

For accessible customers, your entry ticket will include 1 free carer ticket. You may be asked for proof of disability at the ticket office.

Yes! However, please be aware that the event does contain fire shows, walkabout and stilt entertainers and other elements that may make dogs and/or young children and babies uncomfortable so please ensure you bring ear defenders and stand back when this part of the event is happening.   Note the event is designed to be family friendly not scary.

Dogs are allowed on a short lead. Due to low visibility, extendable leads are not permitted , leads must remain on the shortest possible length. Pushchairs are also allowed but slings are advised due to likelihood of crowds.
