Gift Vouchers Terms and Conditions

1. Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) apply to the purchase and use of Trentham gift vouchers (“Gift Voucher“).

1.2 Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing, using, or redeeming a Gift Voucher.

1.3 By purchasing or using a Gift Voucher, you agree to these Terms.

1.5 The Terms in force as at the date you place an order for a Gift Voucher (“Order“) will apply to your Order. We may amend these Terms from time to time, so you should save or print a copy of these Terms when you place your Order.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

2.1 We are Trentham Leisure Ltd with company number 03246990 and our registered office address is at Management Suite Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Trentham, Staffordshire, United Kingdom, ST4 8JG (“Trentham“, “we“, “us“, “our“).

3.  Gift Vouchers

3.1 We sell electronic Gift Vouchers only. We do not currently sell physical Gift Vouchers.

3.2 Gift Vouchers can only be purchased on our website at https://trentham.co.uk/ (“Website“). Gift Vouchers cannot currently be purchased from our Visitors Centre.

3.3 The minimum and maximum amounts that can be loaded onto a Gift Voucher is as set out on our Website.

3.4 You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a Gift Voucher.

3.5 Gift Vouchers can only be purchased for personal and non-commercial use only.

4. Placing an Order for a Gift Voucher

4.1 To purchase a Gift Voucher on our Website, you will need to add the Gift Voucher to your shopping cart, fill in the requested information and submit your Order.

4.2 Please take the time to check your Order before you submit your Order. The value of the Gift Voucher cannot be changed once the Gift Voucher has been dispatched.

4.3 If we accept your Order, you will receive an email from us confirming that your Gift Voucher has been dispatched, at which point a legally binding contract will be formed between you and us.

4.4 The price of Gift Vouchers are in pounds sterling and include VAT (where applicable).

4.5 We will charge your payment method when we dispatch the Gift Voucher.

4.6 Gift Vouchers can only be purchased via the payment methods set out on our Website. Gift Vouchers cannot be purchased with any vouchers including Tesco vouchers.

5. Delivery of Gift Vouchers

5.1 Gift Vouchers shall be sent to the email address specified by you when you placed your Order.

5.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during the order process. We have no liability to you or to the intended recipient of the Gift Voucher (“Intended Recipient“) if your Gift Voucher is delivered to the incorrect email address, unless the error is due to our fault. We have no liability to you or to the Intended Recipient for the late or non-delivery of a Gift Voucher due to an interruption to, or failure of, your or the Intended Recipient’s electronic device, internet connection or email account.

6. Redeeming Gift Vouchers

6.1 Gift Vouchers can be redeemed online and at our Visitors centre.

6.2 Gift Vouchers can only be used to purchase certain products for use in England, as set out on our Website (“Products“). The terms and conditions that apply to the Products are set out on our Website. Refunds in relation to Products purchased using a Gift Voucher are subject to these Terms.

6.3 To pay for a Product on our Website using a Gift Voucher, select the gift value amounts required on the checkout page and type the Gift Voucher number as set out on the Gift Voucher.

6.4 You can use more than one Gift Voucher per Order.

6.5 If the value of the Order exceeds the value of the Gift Voucher, the balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.

6.6 If the value of the Order is less than the value of the Gift Voucher, any remaining balance will remain on the Gift Voucher.

6.7 Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from and including the date of issue as stated on the Gift Voucher. We have no obligation to remind you of a Gift Voucher’s expiry date. Once a Gift Voucher has expired, it cannot be used and any balance on the Gift Voucher will be retained by us. It is your responsibility to ensure that any balance on a Gift Voucher is used in full prior to the expiry date.

6.8 A Gift Voucher expires automatically once the balance on the Gift Voucher has been used.

6.9 A Gift Voucher cannot be topped up with additional funds.

6.10 A Gift Voucher may not be used to purchase another Gift Voucher.

6.11 A Gift Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other forms of monetary value.

6.12 We may refuse to accept a Gift Voucher as a payment method if there is reason to believe the Gift Voucher was purchased fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.

6.13 Gift Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, or special offers, unless expressly stated.

7. Returns and Replacement

7.1 By law, we are required to provide Gift Voucher which are as described and of satisfactory quality. If a Gift Voucher is faulty or not as described, please contact us at enquiry@trentham.co.uk and we will provide a full refund.

7.2 If we cancel any Products you have purchased with a Gift Voucher, we will provide a refund in the form of a Gift Voucher. If you paid for the Products with a Gift Voucher and another payment method, any refund will first be made in the form of a Gift Voucher (up to the amount paid using a Gift Voucher in the original transaction).

7.3 Lost or stolen Gift Vouchers cannot be replaced.

7.4 Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

7.5 Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Our responsibility to you for loss or damage you suffer

8.1 We are only liable to you for losses which you suffer as a direct result of our breach of these Terms and which are reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if we and you knew it might happen.

8.2 We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for:

(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

(c) any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or limit our liability.

10. Other Important Terms

10.1. You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms to any other person, company or organisation.

10.2 We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another company or organisation or ask another company or organisation to fulfil any of our obligations under these Terms. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer or fulfilment will not affect your rights.

10.3 Only you and we have rights under these Terms. No other person, company or organisation shall have any rights under these Terms.

10.4 These Terms are governed by English law.

10.5 You can bring legal proceedings in:

(a) the English courts;

(b) in either the English or Welsh courts if you live in Wales; and

(c) in either the English or Scottish courts if you live in Scotland.

10.6 We may, at any time, cancel and/or suspend the Gift Voucher programme.
