Now that the gardens have thawed out (for now, at least) and those icy scenes are behind us, there`s plenty happening! It almost feels like early spring, with green shoots emerging, splashes of colour, and delightful scents popping up everywhere. ๐ธโจ๐ฑ
๐ณ Over on the west lakeside, our zig-zag walk is bursting with colour from our beautiful collection of witch hazels - Hamamelis x intermedia `Arnold Promise`, Hamamelis mollis `Pallida`, and Hamamelis ร intermedia `Westerstede`. Plus, a stunning array of hellebores is peeking through across the gardens, adding that much-needed pop of colour just when we need it most! ๐๐๐ฟ
Speaking of colour, our team is in the midst of an exciting new planting project in the Upper Flower Garden! Designed by our in-house experts, this vibrant and sustainable planting scheme will bring long-overdue colour and life to this special corner of the garden. ๐ผ๐ฟโป๏ธ
