Tickets are available from 10am Friday 29 August via our website and at the Visitor Centre.
Unfortunately, all event/day entry tickets are non-refundable as outlined in Trentham’s Event Terms and Conditions.
It is free to visit our daytime Halloween Festival for members between 8am – 4pm.
The evening event will begin at 5pm and is chargeable for all visitors.
£12 for adults, £7 for children and £30 for a family of 4. This includes 10% discount for members.
Yes, our entire site is wheelchair user friendly and can all be accessed by our hardstanding gravel paths.
Dogs are allowed on a short lead. Due to low visibility, extendable leads are not permitted, leads must remain on the shortest possible length and we do recommend where possible to attached a light or flashing collar so your dog is more visible as these events attract very large crowds.
Please be aware, access for dogs may be restricted in certain areas.
Yes, we have a wide variety of catering and refreshments available to cater for all dietary needs.
Please arrive within your 30-minute time slot. Last event entry is 1 hour prior.
The event will still go ahead in inclement weather conditions. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared. These events will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at the time.
Visitors accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on the day they visit and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled by The Trentham Estate.
Yes. The nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent, which is approximately 4 miles from The Trentham Estate. Stafford Station is approximately 12 miles from The Trentham Estate. Buses and Taxis are readily available at both stations. You can also get to us on bus from Hanley Bus Station and Stafford Town Centre.
There will be a seating area in the middle of the Italian Gardens, on our Amphitheatre and in our Tearooms, for you to enjoy the food you purchase from the Festival.
Yes, in addition to our existing toilet facilities by the Tearooms, there will be extra toilets located near to the Pumpkin Trail. This will be highlighted on your map on the day.

We are not accepting applications for catering or bar providers.
We do have a Premier Inn located onsite. For other accommodations please contact the local tourist information website, Visit Stoke, for full details of local accommodation. The Trentham Estate does not allow camping on site or in the car park area.
The gardens will be closed at 4pm, last entry at 3pm. The evening event for all ticket holders, will open at 5pm for the first wave of guests, please arrive at your chosen time slot only. If you have visited the gardens in the day and have tickets for the evening then we would suggest visiting one of our onsite eateries and shops while you wait for the evening event to begin.
On the 25 and 26 October as well as our lakeside walk, adventure playground, maze and barefoot walk you’ll also experience live seasonal music and a Halloween pantomime that will take place on the stage at intervals throughout the day.
In addition, The Makers Market and vintage fayre ground rides will line the Italian gardens, Professional pumpkin carvers will create an impressive pumpkin trail with 9 pumpkin scenes and the selfie trail will see you posing in front of trick or treat doors, sitting on the pumpkin throne and dodging zombies hands!
Children can also embark on the Witch and Wizard school as they complete tasks to graduate and receive a certificate.
Food and beverage units will also be available.
As night falls, Trentham Gardens transforms into a Halloween Festival that you won’t want to miss!
As well as the chance to explore Trentham Gardens in the dark, the evening tickets include everything that the daytime has to offer, plus:
- Meet live creepy crawlies including tarantulas and snakes with our friends at Zoolab.
- Step a Silent Disco experience fun with glowing headphones and dance to your own beat! Our family Silent Disco lets everyone choose their favourite tunes, it’s a unique dance party experience for all ages.
- Meet Halloween characters as they roam around the gardens, ready to bring big smiles and great photo moments. Kids and families can snap pictures, share hugs. No tricks here – just treats and friendly fun!
- Get ready for lively musical performances that will keep the whole family entertained. From toe-tapping rhythms to sing-along favourites, the stage will be full of energy and excitement.
Tickets are available to buy at the Visitor Centre prior to the event. This is a highly popular event so we encourage you to pre-book tickets as availability is limited and once these have sold out you will be turned away. Please choose an entry time slot upon purchasing, you will be permitted entry within 30 minutes of this slot please allow ample time as late arrivals may be turned away and early arrivals will have to wait for their allocated slot.

Yes! However, please be aware that the event does contains, walkabout and stilt entertainers and other elements that may make dogs and/or young children and babies uncomfortable so please ensure you bring ear defenders and stand back when this part of the event is happening.
Please note the event is designed to be family friendly not scary.
