Competition Terms and Conditions

For all Trentham Estate competition terms and conditions, please refer to the below:

1. Terms and Conditions for “Who Dunnit?” Trail Competition

1. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over.
  • Entrants must be able to collect the prize from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • To enter, participants must complete the “Who Dunnit?” trail and either:
    • Hand in their completed answer sheet at the Trentham Visitor Centre, or
    • Submit their answers digitally via the online form accessed through the QR code provided on-site.

3. Competition Period

  • Entries will be accepted from Friday 25 October 2025 until Saturday 2 November 2025 at midnight.

4. Prizes

  • One winner will receive a Halloween hamper, consisting of:
    • A family ticket to any Trentham event (excluding Trentham Live).
    • A plush toy (either a swan or a kingfisher, both subject to availability).
    • Meg Hawkins wildlife mug and pen.
  • Please note: Postage is not included, and prizes must be collected from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Prizes not collected within 90 days of notification will be forfeited.

5. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries received during the competition period.
  • The draw will be conducted after the competition closes.
  • Trentham’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process or outcome.

6. Data Privacy

  • Participation in the competition constitutes consent for Trentham to process personal data in accordance with GDPR regulations.
  • Data used for the competition will be hosted on Woobox.
  • Participants opting into the mailing list will have their data exported to Tor Systems.
  • All other data will be deleted within 6 months following the competition’s close and prize claim.

7. Promotion and Usage Rights

  • Trentham reserves the right to use submitted entries and participant information for promotional purposes related to this or future competitions.
  • Photos taken as part of the prize may be used by Trentham for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes.

8. Disqualification

  • Participants may be disqualified for actions deemed damaging to Trentham Estate or for providing false information.

9. Liability and Indemnity

  • Trentham retains rights to use submitted materials for marketing and promotional purposes.

10. Contact and Notification

  • The winner will be notified via email after the competition closes.
  • If no response is received within 60 days of notification, the prize will be redrawn.

11. General

  • Trentham reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
  • Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Terms and Conditions for “Monster on the Move” Competition

1. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over.
  • Entrants must be able to collect the prize from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Employees of Trentham Estate and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Entry Mechanism

  • To enter, participants must upload a photo of the “Monster on the Move” displayed in-store via the online form accessible through the QR code provided on-site and via the link from the website event page.
  • The competition link will be available via Trentham’s promotional materials and signage.

3. Competition Period

  • Entries will be accepted from Friday 25 October 2025 until Saturday 2 November 2025 at midnight.

4. Prizes

  • Each winner will receive an embroidered pumpkin.
  • Winners will be selected each working day throughout the competition period. Entries submitted over the weekend will be entered into the next available weekday draw.
  • Please note: Postage is not included, and prizes must be collected from Trentham, address: Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, ST4 8JG.
  • Prizes not collected within 90 days of notification will be forfeited.

3. Quarterly Day Tickets Satisfaction Survey

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions

  • The prize is two Standard Trentham memberships.
  • Entry is free and open to individuals who provide a valid email address.
  • The prize draw is annual and will take place in December each year.
  • The prize is valid on Standard memberships only.
  • Winners will be selected at random and notified via the email address provided.
  • No cash alternative or substitution is available.
  • Trentham reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time.
