Celebrating Stoke

To celebrate Stoke’s centenary, Trentham is welcoming local charities and emergency services to the Shopping Village for three days of free family-friendly activities.

From 26-28 May, visitors can enjoy interactive experiences hosted by emergency services and community organisations. Highlights include:

• Monday 26 May: Social media influencer Neil Walker (StokieLEGO) brings free LEGO play sessions and chats about the mental health benefits of LEGO therapy. Staffordshire Fire & Rescue will also be on hand with their fire engines.
• Tuesday 27 May: Influencer Chloe Brain (Slow Runner) joins the 100-mile challenge. Stoke City mascot, Pottermus, will be joining from 11am – 1pm.
• All three days: Pupils from Walton Priory Middle School will showcase their ‘100 Miles in May’ challenge to raise funds for UHNM Charity so expect to see running, hopping, and even cartwheeling! The AA and National Highways will be offering free activities throughout the event.
• Don’t miss Kelvin the Potbank, who’ll be inviting visitors to write their names on a giant potbank board and snap a photo.
