Today we’re shedding the spotlight on the spectacular transformation underway at the Western Pleasure Gardens. We’re currently preparing for the introduction of enchanting annual meadows, a vibrant canvas that promises to elevate the area into a haven of biodiversity and beauty.

Our gardens will soon be bursting with the colours of the “Classic” mix from Pictorial Meadows, originally designed by the renowned Nigel Dunnett, whose designs can also be seen throughout our woodland walks on the western side of the lake. This meticulously selected blend is known for its robust and radiant array of annual flowers that create a picturesque panorama of colour throughout the summer months. Visitors can expect waves of vivid poppies, cosmos, coreopsis, and more, each contributing to an ever-changing display that dazzles from late spring until autumn.
