Many long-time customers will remember the shop’s early days as “Vom Fass” during its first decade. A successful rebrand led to the birth of IL Gusto Trentham, which has now completed its second decade. The business also relocated – just a few doors away at Trentham Shopping Village – to a custom-designed store that better serves its growing customer base.
The past few years have presented numerous challenges, including global economic uncertainty, two COVID-19 lockdowns, post-Brexit regulatory changes, and the personal toll of cancer affecting both staff and customers. Despite these hardships, IL Gusto Trentham has emerged stronger than ever — recently earning the title of “Best Giftshop in England” at the prestigious England Business Retail Awards.
