This October, Trentham is pulling out all the stops to become the ultimate Halloween destination. Across the award-winning gardens and iconic shopping village, three fang-tastic events promise thrills, excitement, and unforgettable family fun.
Halloween Festival
Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 October | 5pm – 9pm
As the sun sets, Trentham Gardens transforms into an unmissable Halloween Festival. The event invites visitors to experience an evening of live music, slithering creatures, and walk around performers whose eerie antics will entertain all night long.
The Pumpkin Trail, with nine professionally carved scenes, sets the stage for a night of awe and fright. Explore the Selfie Trail, featuring trick-or-treat doors, a pumpkin throne, and photo ops with zombie hands sneaking from the shadows. Enjoy browsing a fantastic selection of Makers Market stalls, featuring brilliant local makers and bakers, and a range of delicious street food vendors*.
Visitors can take part in the silent disco – a chance to dance to your favourite tracks under the stars. Plus, this festival offers a rare opportunity to explore Trentham’s adventure playground after dark.

Halloween Half Term in the Gardens
Saturday 25 October – Sunday 2 November | 10am – 4pm
Trentham Gardens is your hub for Halloween fun this half term. Families can explore a professionally carved Pumpkin Trail, snap spooky selfies on the selfie trail, and test their sleuthing skills in the Who Done It? mystery challenge.
Little witches and wizards can enroll in Witch and Wizard School, where completing magical tasks earns them a graduation certificate.
Children can enjoy face painting*, old-school fairground rides*, and a lively pantomime showing throughout the day. It’s all wrapped up in a garden full of Halloween décor and brilliant photo opportunities.
Plus, on 25 & 26 October only, enjoy browsing the Makers Market stalls and a range of delicious street food vendors*.
Halloween Half Term in the Gardens is all included in garden admission, and free for Trentham members.

Monster On the Move
Saturday 25 October – Sunday 2 November | 10am – 5pm
Over in Trentham Shopping Village, monsters are on the loose! Monster On the Move brings spooky surprises and Halloween fun to every corner of the village.
Each day, Trentham’s monster will be hiding in a different shop – find it and you could win a daily prize! Keep your eyes peeled and explore the village to see where the monster pops up next. It’s the perfect way to keep little ones entertained while browsing the fantastic range of shops, cafés, and boutiques.
This activity is free to attend in Trentham Shopping Village.
