Community Day is a celebration of charities, local businesses, and communities across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. Families can meet real-life heroes from the emergency services, enjoy exciting demonstrations, sit in vehicles, and join interactive activities with the police, fire service, ambulance, and more.

Yes. Last year the event sold out quickly, so we strongly recommend booking tickets online in advance to secure your place. On-the-day entry will be subject to availability.

Yes. Members are required to purchase a ticket in advance. Members without a ticket may enter the gardens from 4pm, once the event has finished. Please note that access may be limited due to vehicle movement at this time.

Yes. Food and drink will be available with options for all dietary requirements. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic. Food outlets and cafés in Trentham Shopping Village will be open throughout the day. With your event ticket, you can come and go between the gardens and shopping village.

Absolutely. This is a family-friendly event designed for all ages, with plenty of interactive activities for younger visitors.

Yes. Many stalls run by charities and community groups will be offering “have-a-go” activities, with some asking for a small donation. Please note that the café within the gardens is card only.

Trentham offers ample free on-site parking for visitors.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs on short 2-metre leads are welcome in the gardens and at the event.

The event will go ahead in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the day.

Stalls are free for local charities and good causes, but you will need to provide your own fire-retardant gazebo and tables. For more information and to apply for a stall, please email events@trentham.co.uk
