Pond dipping season is here at Trentham! 🧪🌿
Its been a busy summer term at Trentham and our ranger-led education visits are buzzing with activity! From habitats & adaptations to life & food chains, students are getting hands-on with nature at our purpose-built pond dipping platform.
Recent discoveries include water snails, damselfly nymphs, and even rarer finds such as the water stick insect and smooth newt larvae, both fascinating examples of how creatures adapt to life above and below the surface. 🦐
